This was pretty much decided by flipping coins when I was sketching. From what to draw out of 3 things to what PAX photo I'd go with.  It was gonna be more realistic but it looked too awful so I had fun with it. I also liked some Jack fanart where the gauntlets had like painted white highlights for the scales instead of a realistic approach so I did that. (I'd seriously buy a pair if I had the money and a use for them)
