I'm Back

So much youtube to catch up on So much so I actually have to visit channels because the subscription box only has so many. I wrote about each day while I was there since I was pretty bored in the unit. I will be unloading photos as soon as I'm all caught up on everything

Leaving Day: We woke up at around 8ish. I didn’t get up until half an hour or so later. When we arrived we were 4 hours early, this annoyed me because we could’ve used those 4 hours to sleep (I did stay up till 2am) and at this point in time I had a sore ass from sitting weirdly in the back of the car and strong back pain. I ended up being in the car for about 4/5 hours. By the time we got there and unpacked it was 3pm, an hour later mum decided she didn’t like the unit and so we had to repack everything and move to another unit. I ended up taking a nap almost completely out of boredom, it only lasted an hour and didn't feel like I slept but it did wonders for my back pain. so it wasn’t a great start to a holiday.

Day 2: We woke up at 9am, had brekky while watching a morning show and getting a little annoyed about one guy’s opinion on athletes being role models, basically saying to pick and choose role models for your kids. After that we took a trip down da ja vu lane doing the same Cape Shank walk from when we went to Safety Beach. The only difference was it was sunnier and I’m a lot more unfit.

In the car driving back to our room, I learnt more about my parents. I tuned in around talking about how dad purposed on a cruise in Europe with people giving her roses. He called my grandmother (we call her nanny as in nan) from dad’s side who never actually liked my mother so it was no surprise she was a bitch about the proposal.

 but then I learnt about my grandfather who I never met due to his passing away before my sister was born, when he passed, dad was in Bangkok with mum, mum offered to get plane tickets back but he didn’t and because of this his mother sold his house and car to get money to pay for the funeral or something. According to mum my grandfather from dad’s side was nice to her but a dick to his own son, calling him ‘useless’ with ‘nothing between the ears’ so I’m not surprised he didn’t rush back after hearing about his passing.  It was very sad to hear that the parents who raised a nice, caring dad were such assholes. My grandma is the definition of fake, only being nice to mum after she had kids. 

Day 3: We didn't have a plan this day. Just jumped in the car and drove, winding up at Arthur's Seat. We did a couple of tracks, nothing exciting just making fun of the fact one of the lookout points maps has 'mount disappointment' on it. We went to the quarantine station that my dad, brothers and I had already been before but mum hadn't so we all split up. I walked along the beach, and explored a part that we skipped because you can't go inside all the buildings. It was pretty much a waste of time. So we came back and binge watched some more breaking bad which occurred whenever we were in our room. Mum decided to use whatever spare time she had to watch as much as possible before we returned home. 
So far this holiday hadn't been really worth it. Its all stuff we've done before. I was really looking forward to retuning home.

Day 4: We went to Phillip island. We were going to go to the French island but we missed the cruise time. We parked at an illusions place we went to as kids but decided not to go in but go somewhere else. We went to a historic farm place thing. Part museum, part farm really. It was really boring with little information and actual animals. It had lovely views that's about it. The drive there was a lot more interesting and all the fauna doesn't give a fuck about humans, walking and driving, magpies fly so close to you it scares the shit outta you and cows walk on the road. They don't give a fuck. 
Mum and I went swimming in the pool/spa. I learnt more about her. From hair length choices from the past to genetic health problems so yay to the possible diabetes, arthritis and back pain.
We returned to our unit and watched more breaking bad of course. This holiday may have been a bust but it had some nice views and being out around nature is always good, its been so long since I've been outside.
